Description [Kutani ware] Kutani ware is one of Japanese most famous colored porcelains. It originated in Ishikawa Prefecture and has a history of over 360 years. Kutani ware is characterized by the five colors of green, yellow, purple, red, and blue (Kutani Gosai). Kutani ware has continued to grow with the times, and is loved by people in Japan and around the world. Please enjoy it in your daily life. This is a rock glass that bring out the original white of the Kutani Yaki base and achieve a sharp, edgy cut. It is heavier than it looks, but it is handmade and has a thick bottom and center of gravity, so it is very stable. Craftsmen finished the heptagonal shape by hand. Since the base is thicker, it is resistant to heat transfer from the hand and changes in outside temperature.
