Welcome! KOYOMO hana Aizu Fuki-urushi Sakura Blush Brush, Sokoho Yomo Goat Hair, Made in Japan, New in Box The Hana series is made with a very special Sokoho goat hair, much softer than the usual. Please see below, for more information about the material used in the creation of this brush. Designed with domed bristles, this beautiful blush brush effortlessly sweeps along the cheek bone for precise application. Picks up powder formulas perfectly and moves gently over the skin for beautiful blending. Ideal for blush, highlighting and contouring the hollows of the cheeks and cheekbones. Also wonderful for application of setting and finishing powders. Handle is made of cherry (Sakura) wood. Manufactured by Tsubokawa Mouhitsu, this brush is made with Sokoho Yomo goat hair, which is from around the neck and chest area of young goats, which has been subjected to little wear and tear, and considered by many to be the highest-quality among all goat hair. It has the perfect balance between firmness and softness — the roots are thick and have great resilience. The highest-quality hair for brushes, known as “Koyomo”, is hair that has been taken from goats living in the Yangtze region of China in the 1970s or before, and as you can imagine, is extremely rare. Because of the rare beauty of this goat hair, brushes using “Koyomo” feel smooth on the skin and have no friction. The brushes also last a long time, becoming more adapted to the user the more they are used, and as make-up brushes they are unparalleled. Brush comes with a special satin-lined presentation box, made from recycled paper from the memorial tower of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.
