The easiest way to measure this is to have a friend help you. Have your friend hold the tape measure in the center of one spring one the axle while you pull the tape measure down the same axle to the other side of the axle to the center of the other spring on the same axle. The easiest way to measure when by yourself is: Hook the tape measure on the outside of one spring, pull down the axle to the inside of the other spring on the axle axle. This will also give you your (sc) or Spring Center measurement.
