Antique Robbins Myers Ceiling Fan Motor Ornate Cast Iron Direct Current Rare USA Unrestored Condition, Remnants of Old Copper Oxide Finish in Spots, Oxidation, Light Soil. This fan motor was professionally assessed & tested by the late antique fan & motor genius Mr. Sam Morgan, of Vintage Fans, Fort Worth, Texas sometime around 2017, prior to Vintage Fan’s closing. Sam’s written paper tag on the motor states “Motor Test Good”, The motor has been in dry warehouse storage since that time. All the castings and motor tags are original on this fan, which is often not the case on early fans.(see images) This is a true fan collectors find and arguably one of the most beautiful and usable examples (after servicing or restoration) of the early D.C. electric ceiling fan motors.
