Please read and understand what is for sale before purchasing. One set of 18 rough castings to make a bottle style steam engine. There are no detailed plans for this set, reference photos and some basic dimensions of the assembled prototype will be included, so you will need to be able to apply your design and machining to complete it. This includes cylinder porting and valve operations. Set consists of the set of cast iron castings shown in the first photo (plus a belt pulley that did not make it in the photo), all other parts will need to be made or supplied by you. The photo of the assembled engine is for reference only – to show what a finished engine will look like. Approximate dimensions of finished engine: 16-1/2″ tall 1-3/4″ bore 2-1/16″ stroke 7″ diam flywheel 48 pounds. Ships in two USPS flat rate boxes.
