Antique Emerson 3012 52″ Ceiling Fan – USA Made, Works Great, 2-Blades, Rare Up for sale is a piece of history. This Emerson 3012 ceiling fan was manufactured around 1906. Yes, that’s right, this fan is almost 120 years old!! Despite its age, it still runs fantastic. The windings are perfect, bearings smooth, and the fan runs strong and quieter than you’d expect a fan of this age to run. The motor has been refinished in a natural iron finish and then sealed with a clear coat. The blades are solid wood and have a dark stain finish. One of the blade irons has been replaced with, what appears to be, a homemade blade iron. Despite this, the fan is still nearly perfectly balanced, and you can’t tell when it’s mounted. The canopy has also been banged up and has numerous dents. As with most antique fans, this fan uses an oil bath lubrication system, which is a huge reason why it still works as good as it does. Due to it’s age, the fan is sold AS IS. This fan is made of cast iron and is extremely heavy. It will be very well packed for safe shipment. Even with the discount I receive from UPS, shipping will be quite a bit. Local pick-up in the greater Orlando area is also available.
