For sale is an antique Bowen & Brother NY combination fountain pen and mechanical pencil. Twist the base of the instrument to expose the pencil and pull up on the midsection to expose the pen nib. The bottom unscrews to allow access to the lead. The nib is marked with the maker’s name. This pen/pencil is encased in a gold tone metal. There is minor wear to the metal color, as pictured. This piece is in good workiong condition. Closed, it measures approximately 3 3/4 inches long. With the pencil exposed, it is about 4 3/4 inches and 5 1/4 inches if the pen is in use.
