You are bidding on about 20 OTHELLO LIGUALARIA SEEDS- Ligularia dentata ‘Othello’ . This is a bold specimen perennial that needs a moist location. This is grown as much for its dark colored foliage as for its flowers. New leaves emerge purplish-red, but mature to brownish-green on top and purplish beneath. Petioles, veins, flower stalks and lower leaf surfaces of this cultivar are distinctively reddish-purple. Taller stems appear in June, bearing clusters of bright golden orange daisy flowers. It is very similar to and somewhat difficult to distinguish from Ligularia dentata ‘Desdemona’, except it is perhaps slightly smaller and produces slightly smaller flowers.
