Offered for bid are six dinner forks in a Mayflower pattern by Welsh & Bro. Co. Welsh & Brothers was a silver manufacturer in Baltimore Maryland, which was in business from 1881-1910. The forks are hallmarked “STERLING” and “WELSH & BRO.CO.”. They measure 7 1/4″ in length. The forks are monogrammed with an Old English “S”. It looks as if the forks were a bit mis struck, as their tines have a gouge on the right most tine. These early forks weigh 307 grams. Their condition is excellent.
