It is also used for treating stored garlic to keep pests away and as cough syrup in the Philippines. The Food and Drug Administration of the Philippines has approved clinical trials for a supplemental treatment for COVID patients. It can grow to 25 feet tall with a red/brown bark. It has small flowers ranging in color from white to blue. Grows in any soil well-drained. It likes full sun to part shade. Zones 6-11 Germination Sow seeds the thickness of the seeds on top of the medium and lightly cover. Keep moist in a bright spot. Do not cover and keep temperatures around 65-75F.
