Valentine’s Day is next month! Beautiful Vintage Blue Opalescent Perfume bottle with Butterfly Stopper, empty. It has no label, but is attributed to Chamart, France. Measures 3 1/2″ tall with the stopper, 2 1/4″ tall without stopper, and 2 1/2″ wide. In wonderful pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks, or issues on either the bottle or the stopper. Chamart was an importing company started in the mid 1950s by Charles Martine; the company name is a combination of his first and last names. Chamart specialized in fine dinnerware, handpainted ceramics, and replica and unusual French glass perfume bottles. The perfume bottles were made in the Normandy region of France and distributed in the U.S. in the 1960s, 70s, and early 80s. Please note that pre-owned, vintage, and antique items have a history and may show age (or character, depending upon one’s point of view).
