Vintage Figurine of Eighteenth Century Man This figurine depicts a man from the eighteenth century as shown by his day coat, vest, buckled shoes and ruffled shirt top/cuffs. I believe the figurine to be vintage and not new (due to the somewhat darkened coloration of the china/porcelain on the bottom). The figurine is not light weight like some new pieces, and has a mark on the bottom of three blue lines which I don’t recognize (see photo). He stands a little over 6 and a half inches tall by 3 and a fourth inches wide (hand to other elbow). There are no chips, cracks or stains in the china; the tips of the fingers on the right hand are a little rough to the touch. I could not see any chips or cracks in the hand when I looked with a magnifying glass; I believe the glaze to just be a little rough in that spot. The face is nicely painted with blue eyes, black eyebrows and pink mouth and cheeks. I welcome any questions that you may have.
