ZOWEES SERIES WERE VERY SMALL, 1:125 SCALE HOT WHEELS PRODUCED IN 1972 AND MADE IN HONG KONG. THERE WERE 8 VEHICLES ORIGINALLY MADE FOR SHELL OIL CO. AS A PROMOTIONAL ITEM RECEIVED AFTER FUELING UP OR PURCHASED FOR 49 CENTS, PACKED IN A BAGGIE. AFTER THE PROMOTION ENDED FOR SHELL, SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT VERISONS OF THE ORIGINAL 8 AND 6 NEW VEHICLES WERE RELEASED FOR RETAIL IN MULTIPACKS. ZOWEES ARE MADE OF A METAL PIECE WHICH IS THE BASE AND ENGINE TO WHICH THE PASTIC BODY AND WHEELS CLIP INTO. THE CARS I AM SELLING DO NOT HAVE ORIGINAL PACKAGING AND WERE SLIGHTLY PLAYED WITH. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THESE ARE VINTAGE TOYS WITH AGE RELATED CHARACTERISTICS. SEE PHOTOS AND YOU JUDGE THE CONDITION YOURSELF BECAUSE I AM NOT A GRADER OF DIECAST AND I DO NOT WANT TO MISLEAD BUYERS. The Numb Skull Zowee was for retail sale. All wheels roll fine, metal slightly discolored due to normal aging.
