A rare and extremely attractive nautical map of THE WORLD, issued in 1921, by the British Admiralty. This chart shows in great detail of the effects of TIME ZONES. Features both nautical and inland detail noting both topographical features and thousands of depth soundings (in fathoms). Important ports, Island and navigational points are carefully noted. Admiralty Chart No. 5006. Originally published by the British Admiralty in 1921. This 1962 edition. has no printed corrections. Note – The orange/red markings on the chart indicate the location of navigational aids, such as lighthouses, beacons, markers, Etc. They have been updated, added / altered on a chart by means of Small Corrections. 62 years old !!! Scale:- None given. Originally priced at 10s. 0d. Overall sheet size – 47 x 28″, 119 x 71cm approx.
