Two, Tung Sol JAN-CTL-6SN7GT, VT-231 tubes, wartime manufacture, military issue. These are obviously, vintage, US made Tung Sol tubes and not the modern day, Russian made re-issue/reproduction Tung Sol tubes. Silver printed logo bases, black, round plates, smoked glass. Outstanding sonics, for some, this is the finest 6SN7GT that money can buy. Tested on a Hickok TV-3 military tester that has been calibrated. Firm bases, excellent silvering. Tubes are matched for dynamic gain and structure- test at 3250-3125 and 3250-3000 where pass/fail is 1625 micromho. These tubes test at new levels. They have the same structure inside and out, wartime manufacture. One tube no longer has the locator stem. The remainder of the base has excellent integrity with no cracks. Care must be taken upon the first insertion, thereafter it will not affect the functioning or stability of the tube. Many other lots of tubes for sale this week.
