Two, RCA CRC USN 2A3, US Navy (USN), military issue tubes. Silver printed logo bases, black plates, large dual D-getter. Tested on a Hickok TV-3 military tester that has been calibrated. Firm bases, excellent silvering. Tubes are matched for structure and dynamic gain- test at 3500, 3450 where pass/fail is 1900 micromho. The tubes have the same structure inside and out, having date codes of “S6” and “S5”, November-December and September-October 1942, wartime manufacture. These tubes are within an eyelash of testing new- the silver printed logos on the base suffered from an application of old tape, from a previous owner that allowed him to identify “2A3” as the type.
