Tropical Milkweed Asclepias Curassavica 25 Seeds Chill Hill Farms Tropical Milkweed is one of Papa’s favorite plants! We have been growing it for many years now and love the color it brings to any garden! Many different types of Butterflies will visit the flowers throughout the day. This Milkweed variety is not a Florida Native and should be trimmed in late Fall to encourage the Monarch Butterfly to move on. We cut ours back each year and they return each Spring. The Monarch Caterpillars LOVE this plant. Please do not kill them!! Caterpillars will eat every leaf and even devour the seed pods. Just let them be, we mainly grow these plants for them to eat each year.
