It allows for drop-in loading by tilting and lowering the dovetail plate into the saddle. ???M6 & M8 Countersunk Bores??? There are four M8 countersunk bores with a spacing of 35mm (1.38″), two M6 slots with installation spacings ranging from 55mm to 70mm (2.17″ to 2.76″). M6 slots also accept 1/4″ screws. ???1/4″ & 3/8″ Threaded Holes??? 3/8″ threaded hole (with 1/4″ adapter) in the center allows you to quickly attach the saddle to the tripod or other bracket that with 3/8″ or 1/4″ screw. 3/8″ to 1/4″ screw adapter is included. ???Four M6 Threaded Holes??? The saddle features four M6 threaded holes with a spacing of 20mm (0.79″), so it can be mounted directly on our Vixen style dovetail rails.
