In 1973, she became independent from her husband, Morihiko Fukumori, and Akoyaki. Around this time, he aspired to make painted tea pottery. 1982: Moved the workshop to Kitsunemori Kiln in Takachaya, Tsu City. 1985 Studied Japanese painting with Mr. Yonegumo Okochi. 1991: Built an anagama kiln for firing tea pottery.
