Suspension Spring German Pendulum Clocks 19.8mm x 8mm MT217 Description Please note; you will receive a tapered pin with your suspension spring to replace the thumbscrew that some movements used to hold the suspension spring in place. Hermle only makes these Springs with a smaller hole. This is because later, in production, they went to the tapered pin instead of the thumbscrew. So all replacements are made with a smaller hole in the suspension spring itself. You can enlarge the whole on your own but take the risk of destroying the suspension spring. I can’t not get the size spring in the correct hole size but will work perfectly fine with the tapered pin. Here for your consideration we have a new Replacement German-made suspension spring. The size on this spring is 19.8mm x 8mm. This is the most popular spring needed for a lot German wall clocks, and mantle clocks, and some Grandmother clocks models. Please always compare the size of your old spring with this one, before purchasing. If you indeed a different size just go to my eBay store or email me. Please see picture.
