Here is a Starrett No. 657AA magnetic base that is in excellent used condition. There are no initials or engravings anywhere on any of these tools. It has been so you will find a few scratches, scuffs, and other cosmetic imperfections, but nothing that will hinder the usefulness of these tools. I have polished it up to bring it back to the condition that now. The magnet turns “on” and “off” easily and “sticks” solidly on any smooth steel surface. This base has a vertical reach of about 14 1/4″ and a horizontal reach of about 6″. Included is a small piece of round stock used to keep the snug from sliding around.
