But, comes with original documents, attributing the medals to P. O. Gibson. The group was bought at Noonans 9 October 2024 Sale as part of lot 255. With an original letter from the British Legation, Bangkok, dated 19 August 1946, thanking Gibson for his efficient co-operation in arrangements for the departure of the Royal party, in named O.H.M.S. envelope; A letter of thanks from the Air Ministry, Whitehall, dated 29 March 1961, and an invitation to a garden party at Buckingham Palace on 12 July 1963.
