This Mid Century Dal-Tile mural tile insert or backsplash has an old fashioned multi-mast sailing ship scene. There are 20 ceramic tiles, each 4-1/4 inches square, for a total size of 20-1/2 inches high by just under 17-1/4 inches wide. The tile scene is mounted on a paper covered piece of plywood – it was apparently a store display. There is some water staining to the paper, nothing that affects the tile itself. The grout between the individual tiles looks like a non-permanent type, just used for mounting on the board. All tiles are in excellent, still glossy condition with no chips or scratches.
