Watch case shows serial number 182,127 which dates to mid-1942. Fully serviced, keeping time and warrantied. Offered as Buy-it-now. Movement: Lovingly brought back to life, this Rolex watch runs on a caliber 620, featuring 18 jewels, subseconds hand and automatic rotor. The movement is fully serviced and keeping superb time! Dial and Hands: The dial offers a classic light vintage patina – it is in superb condition with matte finish white metal with a slight warmish tone, gold tone indexes, and all original lume. As you can see from the photos, there is a very light patina to the dial, which i think adds to its charm. Rare original mercedes gold hour and minutes hands! Case: The case style is ref. 2940, in stainless stee. The main case has original finishes featuring a combination of brushed and polished surfaces, a fine touch only found on a vintage Rolex! The lugs are brushed in a radial pattern, while the sides and bezel are polished. Caseback threads smoothly, as does the crown. Number on the caseback is 183,127 dating the watch to mid-1942.
