SPEED PRO PISTONS This item is for eight (8) .060-in. over bore Speed Pro (Sealed Power) forged 38.3cc dome pistons for Chevrolet 396ci big block V-8 engines. P/N (8) L2242NF-060. These pistons are Speed Pro’s version of the 1965-1969 396-375HP pistons. Feel free to message us with any fitment questions. These pistons can also be used in a .030-in. over bore Chevrolet 402ci big block V-8 engine. Speed Pro forged pistons are made from extruded VMS-75 aluminum alloy that is forged under 3,000 tons of pressure to “near-net” shape. After that, they are machined to their final configuration.
