Rosenthal Putto with Flowers, “I Congratulate” A rare porcelain figurine made by Rosenthal in 1918. It portrays a putto holding bouquets of flowers in both arms with flowers also at his feet. It is titled “I Congratulate” and its model number is ‘234’. In the Art Nouveau taste, the figurine and its paint are in perfect condition with vibrant colors. The figurine is stamped on the base with the green Rosenthal mark and the WWI mark of the iron cross as well as the date 1918. First modelled in 1913, it has the artist name stamped in light brown on the back: “Ferdinand Lieberman”. Impressed ‘K234’ on the base (not easily seen in the photos but it is there). The figurine is 6.5 inches tall, 4 inches wide and 2.125 inches deep. This is a fine collector piece.
