This is the December 5, 1985 issue of Rolling Stone magazine, with Sir Bob Geldof of the Boomtown Rats and Live Aid fame on the cover. This is Issue 462 of Rolling Stone. Inside are a few blasts from the past, including articles on Marilyn Monroe and the Kennedys, plus music from ZZ Top and James Taylor. Overall condition is very good for it’s age. Purchased at a news stand, so there is no mailing label or glue residue. There is a 1/8″ tear at the very bottom of the cover under Bob’s chin. Spine is straight, square with minor staple pulling and there are no other tears on the covers or the pages. Very minor scuffing from shelf wear. Mine since new, and basically I read this issue and then put it on a shelf, where it sat for 39 years. The mailing label has not been marked, I just covered it for picture purposes here. Ready to move on from my collection and be a part of yours! The photos are of the very magazine you are bidding on, not a “similar” item.
