A Brazilian species with thin stems, in nature grows on rocks. If grown bright and ‘hard’ can be upright and branching, but grown rather lush, it is as limp as spaghetti. Producing a whorl of branches every few inches or so, it forms a cascading mass of stems. The stems are green, but tint purplish in strong light. White flowers are followed by white fruits.
