This detailed excavated specimen shows a left facing portrait of the Queen with the legends, ” MARIA. J. AMALIA REYNA DE ESPANA” Meaning, Maria Josepha Amalia Queen of Spain. Maria the Queen Consort was the third wife to King Ferdinand VII, (Fernando VII). They were married on Oct 20th 1819 and she passed away due to fevers on May 18th 1829, aged 25.
