Answer: No – Precision Machine Threads Screws replace the stock “WOOD TYPE / PLASTIC TYPE COARSE THREAD SCREWS” in the screw kits. Machine Screws have (3) Times the thread for SUPERIOR hold! Also, the machine screws are the same length and diameters of the coarse type screws they are replacing! Are stainless screws stronger than the stock screws that come with the cars/truck/heli kits from the manufacturer? Answer: Yes – we use A2-70/A4-80 (18.8/316) Stainless Steel Screws (Button, Socket & Countersunk Heads) Set Screws, Nuts & Washers.
