Playmobil Kings Knights Large Medieval Castle 3666. As shown. Fabulous and rare. In amazingly good vintage condition. STRUCTURE is COMPLETE. ALL ORIGINAL FIGURES, but some have different hats from original. Decor and accessories 99% complete. Nearly impossible to get one so complete in the US at a reasonable price with reasonable shipping. (Choice of shipping options. I believe FedEx Home Delivery will deliver by Christmas. But if you want a faster option, let me know BEFORE you pay.) This is Playmobil’s famous vintage largest castle from ca l993!! Fabulous and rare. Windows open, doors with sliding bolts, working drawbridge with chains and winch, working pulley and boom, with large bucket, trap doors inside towers, ladders inside round tower, rare rooster weathervane, etc. This set is often described as Playmobil’s greatest toy and sometimes as the greatest toy ever made. BE AWARE: The building has many many “SMALL” structural pieces which many other listings often do NOT include if you look carefully and which COST A LOT if you try to buy them separately to complete an incomplete castle. And the people are accessorized rare ORIGINALS not a random bunch or incomplete figures. This offering is actually a bargain because it has all those “small” expensive pieces! Specifically: –STRUCTURE is complete original configuration. Has all the “little” FINISHING PIECES: sliding door latches, tip and rooster weathervane on round tower, all catwalks and catwalk connectors, all ramparts and rampart connectors, all the little clips and holders for the drawbridge and RARE WINCH CLIPS to keep it from popping out…etc. — PEOPLE FIGURES, ALL 8 ORIGINAL figures, some with different hats from original. Virtually all of their PERSONAL ACCESSORIES. Buckets for peasants, aqua necklace for peasant woman, hunting horn for Knight, sword and lance-banner for guards, fanfare trumpet for herald. Boy prince even has his shield and toy sword, and lady her belt with keys. (I may have missed something small.) Horse with full gear. –FURNISHINGS include throne chairs, table, chest, weapons rack, horse blanket, blanket fence piece. –SMALL GENERAL ACCESSORIES include 4 doves, miscellaneous weapons and shields (which may differ slightly from original assortment), 3 each of silver/gray plates & goblets for the noble family. ( I have replaced 2 of original silver plates and goblets with mugs full of beer and yellow bowls more suitable for the guards}, 1 candlestick (maybe missing another?). An extra gray/silver fancy medieval pitcher or flagon. –STRUCTURE DECORATIONS. includes original cool bucket on working pulley, original cloth banners with all three holders, 2 torches, 2 shields for entry gate. –CUTE EXTRAS: Beer mugs, bowls (replace original 2 silver plates and goblets) and campfire for the guards to have dinner in the courtyard. Fancy medieval flagon or pitcher. AS SHOWN: photo acts as description. Vintage items may of course show some imperfections, wear, or discoloration that do not really affect appearance or function. ACTIVITIES SHOWN IN PHOTO SCENES: King’s Knight departing with his crossbow on horse on a hunt with his attendants. Royal family having dinner holding goblets, on the deck and inside the house. Peasant man servant tending horse in courtyard and outside. Peasant woman serving beer to guards from medieval-style flagon, as they eat dinner by a campfire in the courtyard. Guard climbing ladder inside tower. Boy playing by riding in the pulley-operated big bucket tended by the peasant man servant. King’s knight, guard, and servant woman looking out back windows while herald blows his trumpet over the parapet/battlements. Endless play possibilities with this castle and its characters! INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED. Sent dis-assembled. But to the extent possible, I will send some sections pre-assembled. For example, the winch winder mechanism, chains, and gate will be pre-assembled, and maybe the stable, the 2 square tower levels, and the 3 round tower levels–depending on what the box will allow. I will send castle walls in two-piece wall sections flat but with connectors attached and labeled as to location to make assembly easier for you. But these fabulous Steck type castles are also building toys and can be assembled different ways. (Grandson’s pointer: Give wall sections a sharp whack at both ends with the palms of your hands to make them click together fully.)
