~~ UNABLE TO SHIP TO CALIFORNIA~~ Suriname Pitanga tree Live 8″-12″ tall GROWN FROM SEED! RARE DARK CRIMSON variety, Brazilian cherry! Pitanga plant is of the genus Eugenia also known as Pitango or Surinam Cherry. The Pitanga perennial is an evergreen plant which grows into either a shrub‎ or a small tree. It can grow in tropic, subtropical, desert or mediterranean climate and best for growing in hardiness zone 10+. Leaves are red when young, the flower is color white with five petals. Just pick the Pitanga Cherries right off the tree…these are beautiful star shaped, dark, sweet, juicy, plump! One of my favorite of all time…These are seedlings 9″-12″ tall, the tree can be shaped any way you want, keep small or large, make into Bonsai, it makes a nice shrub if you want. We ship the trees with all of their leaves which tend to be quite broad in some cases. The trees have the highest chance of arriving in perfect condition when shipped alone, the boxes fit one perfectly, therefore “combined shipping” is not as suitable for this process (some sellers just shave off the leaves and send sticks). RETURNS/REFUNDS/REPLACEMENTS — Typically if a plant arrives damaged or not looking healthy, the buyer must take a photo UPON RECEIPT of the item (take photos that day of the item) and forward it to us with in 24 hours so that we can remedy the situation.
