Peerless Combination Enema Syringe Owl Drug Pacific Coast Pharmaceutical Vtg — Set comes in a paper lined oak box with dovetailed corners (NOTE the bottom half of the lid clasp is missing, also the box hinges are becoming detached, still attached but feeling loose). — Under the lid is a hinged “pipe” holder that has 4 threaded wood fittings for the fittings. For scale or size reference, the longest of the “pipes” on the hinged bar under the lid is 5.5″ long. — There is dust and soiling on most of the parts, obviously I didn’t clean anything. On the bottom of the box there is some old folded up blank tissue paper. On the outside top lid there is a crack in the wood that corresponds to crack/tear to the label under the lid. — The set is identified as Rapid Flow No. 3. That label under the lid has what looks like water stains around the cracked area. NOTE that the 2nd fitting from the bottom on that hinged bar under the lid does not have a “pipe” threaded on, there is one present for that size but the thread either on the wood peg or inside the “pipe” or worn off. That hinged left side bar under the lid swings out to the left. —- There is no paperwork or instructions present, no manual or other type of advertising (other than the maker label under the lid). — The orange rubber squeeze ball is still pliable and does not crack when squeezed down (but is not as supple as it would have been I assume and it might crack if you tried to remove the top nipple). — The rubber tubing is hardened and broken, parts of the brown tubing still feels supple but the longer section is hardened towards the ends. The shorter brown tube with the black fitting on one end and the glass fitting on the other feels more or less supple but I would imagine it is fragile and would break or crack if flexed very much. — In addition to the nipple that is installed on the orange ball, there are 4 other nipples with that type of fitting (to fit inside a tube or the orange ball, although I don’t know that they would fit in that ball). I’m not going to measure the diameters of all of the different fittings. — The wood case is 7-5/8″ x 9″ x 3-1/4″.
