Is it a Star or a Pentogram? … This nonsense on the Freemasons having a Pentogram symbol comes up o lot on the internet. The pentagram, or five -pointed star, is actually a common symbol – although to be completely technical, it is a pentagram if it is drawn with intersecting lines, but a star if its only an outline. It appears fifty times on the American flag. So…. It’s a STAR!!!!! Also, this particular Star has a gavel atop and it represents the authority of the Freemason yielding it.
