“Why have you forsaken my, My Savior and my God?” “Weeping may endure a night, But joy comes in the morning.” This sheet music includes Psalm 42 and Psalm 30, adapted and set to music by Shirley Starke. The first Psalm is one of supplication; the second, one of thanks and rejoicing; the music is especially appropriate for Easter but may be sung any time. The music is printed in black on ivory paper and includes words, melody, and chord symbols. It was written on the harp but may be played on any instrument. Unlike most of our music, it is in lead-sheet form, not arranged for the harp but with chord symbols to enable the harpist to create his or her own arrangement.
