Our nitro is matched to some of the most classic guitar finishes from Gibson, Fender and others. After much research and testing, we are pleased to now offer our Vintage Formula Clear Gloss Lacquer. We’ve worked closely with a long time lacquer manufacturer to reformulate a blend of Nitrocellulose Lacquer that offers the most desired qualities, specific to instrument makers and players. The result is a finish that dries very hard and thin – prone to cold weather checking and ambering over time. 8oz tins are meant for spray application only using the spraying apparatus of your choice. Lacquers may be reduced with Lacquer Thinner between 20-40% if desired. Spray at room temperature 68° to 78°F (20° to 26°C). Relative Humidity should be lower than 60% to avoid blushing/cloudiness.
