This kit contains all the materials you’ll need to finish your guitar in one of the classic colors we provide. Materials listed will finish one body and neck The Goldtop finish made it’s debut in the 50’s on the first Les Paul’s and has been a favorite ever since. We’ve sourced the original metallic component that Gibson has used and it can be expected to age/green over time if the metallic coat becomes oxidized. Goldtop Aerosols are mixed in an acrylic lacquer as nitrocellulose and bronze powder are unstable when combined for long periods. Clear coating is advised as with all metallics.
