Gorgeous old nesting pieces. Possibly Bursh-McCoy Pottery, or Nelson McCoy Sanitary Stoneware Company; ca 1910s, a period when potteries did not mark their wares. Yellow ware nesting bowls, each with three white bands. Each photo indicates if you are looking at the larger or smaller bowl… · Larger bowl is approx 7 3/8“ wide x 3“ tall · Smaller bowl is approx 5 3/8” wide x 2 1/4” tall Both items are previously owned, over 100 years old and are in good shape. As vintage pieces there may be nicks or chips. · The bottom of each bowl is glazed with stilt marks, but no visual maker mark · The larger bowl has 2 short, old cracks, but bowl is firm · The smaller bowl had 2 small old chips · Crazing is present on both bowls, as are in-the-glaze pits (see photos) · Both bowls has been scrubbed with Bar Keepers Friend Please see all photos, read descriptions and ask questions before bidding
