I purchased this display after Christmas in 2022 as I brought the glitter houses a decade ago and love them every Christmas. I didn’t open the box, I simply put it away with my other decorations in January. BUT… When I opened the box in late fall I was disappointed to see that a few of the houses had loosed from their backing and I had to borrow my mom’s glue gun and re-affix them which was fine but the glitter “roof” on house #22 came off and I have not attempted to reglue as I think the glue will show and frankly you can just place it back on top. I would think double-sided tape would do the trick but as I’m not planning on keeping it I leave it to it’s next owner. Other than re-gluing the damage I have never removed the display from the original box nor displayed it. In fairness to Pottery Barn (who I adore) the box the advent calendar was delivered in showed damage so who knows what happened in transit. Corners are reinforced, dividers are still in use – otherwise it’s a sturdy box. You will receive the piece in the same box. Despite paying over $100, I am selling at a loss because I’m not going to display it. I am selling as is. My advice is, if it loosens again in transit, be prepared to fire up a glue gun.
