NEW IN BOX! OBCON 1500i 2 Channel 480w Peak Amplifier Unopened

Please add Parts4Rescue to your seller’s list for deals coming soon and often! This is a BRAND NEW Old Stock amplifier that is left from my dealer days. It’s “rated” at 480 watts peak, but we both know, to cut that number in half for REAL world power aka RMS. So, call it 250watts reality. Same company that makes the nice speaker boxes, R&T Enterprises…you KNOW the company! Allegedly, Lightning Audio/Rockford Fosgate made the internals for R&T on this deal, but I can’t confirm. I used to sell these regularly for $139.95. It’s a great amp with a built in crossover and RCA pass-thru which is good for extending your RCA signal wiring. It’s bridgeable mono with the typical 4ohm total mono load….NOT 2 ohm mono tho. Wire accordingly as if you don’t understand resistance values on your sub, let me know BEFORE you buy so we can match it up properly. Obviously you can use this amp to run a killer set of components too!! In fact, I recommend it! It’s a great amp for a low to medium line 10 or 12 inch subwoofer. A pair of 8s would love this amp! Obcon was the company that made those killer band pass and ported sub boxes that had the knurled aluminum panels on the sides that squeezed EVERY dB out of your sub(s). Then they were bought out by R&T wich still makes boxes I believe. Obviously I can’t offer one, nor is there a warranty, but if you connect it properly, you won’t have problems. I just sold a USED version of this amp that ran a 10″ Obcon sub….that sat wide open in my shop….dirt…dust….humidity…..worked perfectly after many years on display.
