Diagonal hole to hole center is 7.75 which is standard for 8 inch woofers and will be a direct replacement. This woofer is rated at 70 watts RMS, and 200 Peak. I would recommend it for 2-3 way type setups, or for subwoofers requiring less than 70RMS and under 60hz. It is very efficient in its sound at 89db (m/w), and does not require a huge amplifier to get great sound out of it. It puts out solid bass response with its 20oz vented magnet, and rubber surround.
