FYI I just had to raise the price of this kit as Auto Gear doubled the cost of the Spacer Plate…….sorry for the increase. Do you have a Muncie Transmission leaking lube out the retainer and on your clutch disc? Fix it once and for all with a sealed front bearing kit. Kit includes the following: 1. Front Sealed Bearing (Nachi Quest Bearing Japan , or KBC Korea). 2. Steel spacer plate. 3. French Locks (2). 4. Extra length Grade 5 bolts (4). 5. Gaskets (2) If your existing front bearing was installed as a slip fit you may be able to remove the bearing retainer and work the existing bearing out of the case. If the bearing was installed as a press fit you will need to remove the mainshaft from the case in order to access the existing front bearing.The new bearing is a slip fit and will slide over most all input gears. See my store if you need a new bearing retainer. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Items required but not supplied: Gasket Sealant (Permatex or equal) Thread Sealant. 1. Install Gasket with Sealant. 2. Install Steel Spacer. 3. Install Bearing. 4. Install Gasket with Sealant. 5. Install Bearing Retainer, French Locks and Bolts (Use thread sealant on bolts to prevent leakage). 6. Bend tabs on French Locks, locking bolts in place.
