A fabulous 0.20 Carat Moissanite Pendant and Necklace Set, in 925 Sterling Silver, 18K Yellow Gold Vermeil. The set is of exquisite quality – it is brand new, tagged and in pristine condition. A magnificent rainbow of colour and sparkle radiates from the centre Moissanite solitaire, of 0.20 Carats. This fabulous Moissanite is faceted cut and channel set within the main body of the Cross. The Pendant measures 2.4cm in length by 1.5cm wide by 3mm deep and it has a large 6mm integral bale. The accompanying necklace measures 50cm/ 20 inches in length with a secure lobster clasp close – however the bale can accommodate most other chain designs, or sizes. The Pendant Necklace set weighs 2.75g of 925 Sterling Silver – this is covered in 18K Yellow Gold Vermeil – a high quality precious metal with gold thickness of 2.5 micron. Moissanite is a natural silicon carbonite – a rare mineral discovered by French Chemist Henri Moissan in 1893. It is second to diamonds on the Mohs hardness scale and rivals diamonds with its brilliance.
