This is a Minolta XK with a Minolta 50mm F1.4 Rokkor X PG lens. It was the top of the line Minolta Pro camera in the 70’s. I used this camera mostly in my studio and occasionally for newspaper work. When taken out of service in 2005 when I switched to digital it was in working order. Now after checking the second shutter won’t close. Most likely needs lubrication/service. The AE meter finder responds but not sure how accurate it is. The lens has a nasty scratch on the front element from when I dropped it changing lenses in the studio. I did use it afterwards without notice on the photos but it looks nasty. The camera and lens has sat on my display shelf since taken out of service in 2005, therefore I am selling it As-Is . A beautiful camera for display. Comes with a Split Image Focus Screen.
