Up for sale here is this set of 2 used vintage Mallory U-44 Midgetrol 300k ohm audio taper potentiometers, from the 1940s-1960s and Made in USA. Each has a short round 1/4″ shaft, so any standard 1/4″ round knob that locks on with a set screw will fit. The shaft was cut down previously but will work perfectly. These are in good shape with light to moderate wear and some solder and wire bits on the terminals. They are guaranteed to work great for you, though they will need some Deoxit. They test around 320k and 288k ohms. These are pretty rare potentiometers and would be great on your guitar or amp. Please see my pictures for details, measurements, and test results.
