Up for sale here is this power supply board recap set for a Marantz 4240. This is all the parts you need to rebuild a Marantz 4240 power supply. Vintage Marantz power supplies were run pretty aggressively, and often the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes all 5 capacitors, 2 transistors, and 6 diodes. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are 105° Panasonic FC caps at the correct uf and same or higher voltage ratings; the transistors are Fairchild/OnSemi KSC2383, and the diodes are 1N4004 and 1N4148 diodes. These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild Marantz power supplies. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but recapping a power supply is at least mildly complicated, and you should know what you’re doing and have a decent soldering iron.
