This Lalique collectible crystal flacon, titled “AIGLE,” is a mascot style perfume bottle by FACTICE and features a clear crystal eagle style bird with his wings spread out as if he’s about to take flight. It has a gold-plated “radiator cap” style screw top. This piece was originally produced as a limited edition FACTICE display bottle for stores, meaning that the makers of the Lalique perfume actually filled it with a signature glitter gold colored liquid instead of the perfume (however it is a lightly scented liquid, almost like a diluted hand soap.) Although this piece does not contain the actual cologne it is unique because it is a piece of FACTICE and LALIQUE history! Just imagine what high end, luxury store that this bottle was displayed in and who it could have influenced to make a purchase based off of its stunning profile! You can fill this bottle with your favorite perfume or fragrance oil or leave it with the original signature liquid inside. Either way it is a stunning piece of artwork that deserves to be displayed! The original perfume retail edition sold for right at $1000-1,200.00 new. Signed by diamond-point etching on the top, bottom edge of the figure, “Lalique (R) France” and noted “FAC” for Factice from a limited release sent to retail stores for display purposes only. These are no longer being produced and factices in general are highly sought after. This FACTICE perfume bottle is full and in overall good condition.
