Kansas City Club was founded in 1882 in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. It was the oldest gentlemen’s club in the state and didn’t admit women until 1975. It closed in 2015 but was bought out of bankruptcy by Epoch Developments, which spent millions on upgrades. In 2020, the club became Hotel Kansas City, with some of the floors being preserved in original condition. International Silver manufactured this silverplated teaspoon. It features intertwined KCC on the front and Kansas City Club imprinted on the back. The spoon measures approx. 6 1/4 inches in length. Very good used condition, no loss of silverplate.
