This is my KVL design based around the work of KFDtools and KFD Shield devices. These units have been redesigned and built around a different control board then my original units to allow for some additional device settings under windows device manager to allow for better compatibility with some known finicky radios. I will be shipping all units with 1.40 firmware installed for use with KFDtools 1.54 as it allows for broader compatibility. I am including the newer 1.73 firmware and newer KFDtools software on the flash drive for anyone to use if they want to. All kits includes a USB mini cable, 60cm hirose cable and flash drive as well as storage case to house everything in. Storage case will be a random color. These are 100% built and ready to run when you receive it. I build and function test each unit and verify every cable is good before it leaves here. It Can load AES256, DES XL, DES OFB, ADP/RC I have personally tested this with Motorola, Kenwood, and EFJ Johnson radios. I have customers that have succesfully used these with Harris radios. As of 11/1/24 I can confirm that Tait radios that use TPA-SV-020 are not compatible with my keyloader. I can also confirm that the KFD shield and original KFD Tool has the same issue with tait’s adapter. I am currently looking to see if there is a way to make this work. ******NOTE These are not FIPS mode compatible and will not keyload any radio setup for FIPS mode!!!!! Also these units will not do radio authentication.
