Kenwood TM-742D 144/430MHz 25/35W unit. 430MHz is equipped with a high-power 35W unit instead of the original 25W. It can also be a triple-band unit by adding other band units. This is a product with extended reception frequencies. The only accessory is a hand microphone. Cross-band repeater has been modified. DTSS is standard. Memory is 400ch with 200ch per band. The lithium battery, electrolytic capacitor in the panel, and backlight have been replaced. The backlight has been replaced with an LED, so it generates less heat and is easier to see. There are no problems with transmission, reception, or frequency deviation. The power has been adjusted to 25W for 144MHz and 35W for 430MHz. If you prepare a long cable separately, you can use the main unit and panel separately. Also, if you have another long cable, the front panel can be separated into upper and lower halves, so you can install the display and operation units in separate locations.
